Well folks, today it came to a head. The 18
year old has continuously stolen money from the brothers and sister, broken
everything he touched, got kicked out of GED class for stealing, the Job Corps
guy said that of the hundreds of kids he had interviewed, THE KID was the MOST
LIKELY TO QUIT of any he had ever interviewed. The kid refused to utilize
any of the homeschool resources, played games instead. He was MEAN about
watching the slime he wanted to on TV. He refused to eat meals with the
family and high-graded the refrigerator, eating the cheeze and anything else
that was "good". He refused to look for work and deliberately sabotaged
any interviews. After all, if you are getting fed, housed, and entertained
for free, why work?
He has been menacing the entire family and
spreading chaos
Today, he threatened to KILL his younger brother
and sister because they unplugged the TV because he was watching
SLIME.
So we packed his lazy hinny up and hauled him over
to the Rescue Mission. He refused to carry one of his sacks to the pickup,
so we just left it. He smart mouthed us all the way there. When we
sat his suitcase on the sidewalk, said a prayer with him and turned around to
leave, it FINALLY DAWNED ON HIM that he had PUSHED IT OVER THE TOP.
He said "You're NOT GOING TO JUST LEAVE ME HERE!"
in his very best spoiled rotten demanding tone.
"Well, yes we are".
"But where will I sleep? What will I eat?", he demanded.
We pointed
up to the sign on the building that said Gospel Rescue Mission and said "This is
where ADULTS who won't work and won't take responsibility for themselves
go". There are other places, but you don't want to go there".
As we turned to leave he had that "look" of
realization that he had finally run it into the ground.
He called a while ago whining and sniveling about
the crazies there and demanded to talk with his mother. I told him he was
done manipulating his mother and working cons on her. Then he said "I
DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET A JOB!" which was a con aimed at me since he knows I
AM A BORN TEACHER OF SUCH THINGS. I told him that he didn't want to learn
anything from me when he had a chance and there were counselors there at the
mission he could talk with.
This is a tremendous, tremendous burden lifted off
our house. This kid has absolutely run roughshod over the entire
family. I have told him repeatedly that HE WAS ENDANGERING ME of being
charged for "Failure to Protect" his brothers and sisters by having him around
trying to teach him something. His spoiled rotten demands have kept the
mommy nearly nuts for 3 months straight. I have fully expected on any
given day to have the red-blue lights show up for who knows what reason.
The one thing I could be sure of, no matter what, it would be twisted around so
IT WAS MY FAULT---again.
I feel like a wrung out dish rag. The mommy
wishes it didn't have to be this way. But it does. It has always
needed to be this way.
Thank GOD HE IS GONE. May the world give him
the education he so sorely needs. I have promised him FOR YEARS that the
first time he runs his smart, caustic mouth out in the real adult world, he will
run into somebody who really doesn't give a shit, and HAS NO SELF CONTROL JUST
LIKE HE DOESN'T and will punch his lights out.
And sorry to say, the world
DOES NOT owe him a living.
I think tomorrow will be a very, very fine day. Saturday, the
23rd will be Joanna's birthday. I think I am in a mood to celebrate and
make mommie's birthday something very special. God knows this kid has put
her through hell.
And that's what the State of Oregon does for kids
that know they don't have to behave themselves--- until they become ADULTS and
DON'T KNOW HOW BECAUSE THEY NEVER HAD TO. Kids know they can go straight
to hell if they want to, and the state will help them get there.
The State of Oregon "CPS" deserves to be
sued out of existence for the thousands of children it has destroyed.
